  • Are digital documents legal?
    Digital signatures are legal in most countries. Added to the fact that Logged is an immutable time and user-stamped system, we far superseded the paper method. The UK HSE ACOPS guidelines state that the Dive Company Supervisor and Diver(s) must make records. However, it does not state in what format. Therefore, once again, we will supersede the paper logbooks by supplying individuals with a digital logbook covering multiple roles containing the completed dive logs for full transparency.
  • Can I stop using my paper logbook?
    As much as we would like to say yes, there will be a transition period while we roll out globally. During this transition period, We advise you to complete your paper logbook and build your experience in your Logged account.
  • Can I download my Company / Individual dives?
    Yes, all dives and project overviews are exportable. Simply filter the dives for the period you want to see and export.
  • Is our data secure?
    Security is vitally important. All our data is encrypted while in transit, using SSL - a security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a server and a client. It's a trusted technology that is industry standard and used in most applications. Logged’s data is stored within a leading global cloud platform. Being one of the world's largest providers, they regularly perform audits and maintain PCI, HIPAA, ISO, and SOC compliance. We will run automatic scheduled database backups to ensure the protection of our users' data. A leading 3rd party payment provider will handle payment information.
  • Can you connect more than one tablet to a dive?
    Yes, for a new supervisor taking over the dive, a chamber operator running the decompression, and a scribe signing in to input the entries.
  • Can I cancel and delete my account?
    A Company can close and delete its Logged account. However, we cannot delete projects/dives that have been carried out because they are also legal documents for individuals. An individual can close and delete their Logged account. However, their details will remain associated with the projects and dives they were envolved in.
  • Does Logged work offline?
    Yes, Logged is offline capable. The dive log has a visual to show the supervisor when there is a connection. If the service is intermittent, the logs will upload when the service regains.
  • Does Logged run the dive for the supervisor?
    No, the Dive Supervisor are in complete control. Logged is a tool to assist the Dive Supervisors. It provides a more straightforward method of inputting the information into the log, and the outcome of digital data means it's usable.
  • Can Logged Ltd access my data?
    Yes, but we do not share data with third-party companies without permission. We will use the data to produce reports on the diving market and to support new features.
  • Can I have individual and Company access?
    Yes, the user can simply switch views to view the appropriate account.
  • Can companies customise Logged?
    Yes, We can offer custom versions of Logged to account for the company-specific procedures. Please get in touch and let us know your requirements.
  • Can I lock a tablet for my Company?
    Yes, we recommend that the account owner or equivalent person sign in to all the tablets before the tablets go on the vessel/work site. The first time you sign in, the app will ask if you want to lock that tablet to that company.
  • How do Dive Companies add users?
    Dive companies send invites to Individuals/Clients/Associations. Once the Individual/Client/Association have accepted the invite, they will be added to the dive company Logged account to be available to be added to projects.
  • Can an Individual allow a Company/Association to view their Logbook?
    This feature is in our short-term road map to assist with qualifications and recruitment.
